What Photo Op does

Photo Op is a photo library cleanup app for iPhone. It identifies duplicate photos, large videos, screenshots, and old photos — all on your device — so you can reclaim storage space.

Data we collect

We collect no data whatsoever. Specifically:

• No photos or videos leave your device.
• No analytics or crash reporting services are embedded.
• No advertising networks or tracking SDKs are used.
• No account or login is required.
• No network requests are made by the app.

How your photo library is accessed

Photo Op requests read access to your photo library (via Apple's MediaLibrary APIs) solely to display and analyze your photos on-device. The app requests permission before accessing your library and respects your choice immediately if you decline.

All computed data (such as duplicate detection scores) is stored locally in a private database on your device using SQLite. This data is never transmitted anywhere.

Deletions

When you choose to delete photos or videos, Photo Op calls Apple's standard MediaLibrary delete API. Deleted items are moved to your iPhone's Recently Deleted album, where they remain recoverable for 30 days before being permanently removed by iOS.

Third-party services

Photo Op does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or data processing services. No data is shared with any third party.

Children's privacy

Photo Op does not collect any personal information from anyone, including children under 13. The app is suitable for general audiences.

Changes to this policy

If we ever materially change this policy, we will update the effective date above. Given that the app collects no data, we do not anticipate significant changes.
